We are excited to announce that Hasta Mañana will be featured at the 2024 Guadalajara International Book Fair! This year’s fair is scheduled from November 30 – December 8, 2024 and the annual event will be held at the Expo Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Created 38 years ago by the University of Guadalajara, the Guadalajara International Book Fair is the most important publishing gathering in Ibero-America and an amazing cultural festival. As well as being the largest book fair in Latin America and one of the largest in the world, the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL) is an important cultural event that embraces all forms of artistic expression, cultural events and exchanges among civil society and academics. The FIL is a social and media event that attracts more than 800,000 visitors, has more than 15 million followers on its social media, and is covered by more than 2,000 media and press professionals and journalists.
Guadalajara International Book Fair: Uniting Cultures
This year’s program will offer a rich literary, academic and cultural program of more than 3,000 activities, with the participation of more than 600 writers from 45 countries. Professionals from the publishing industry, international rights agents, librarians, booksellers, illustrators, distributors, translators and other book-sector professionals from all over the world will attend and explore opportunities for lasting collaboration with their Latin American counterparts. For nine days, Guadalajara will unite cultures and the book industry while the whole city will be filled with the music, arts, cinema and theater from this year’s featured Guest of Honor, Spain.
